“l was told about the arts and craft group about four years ago. At the time l didn’t know it was connected to the Dementia Friendly charity. l just turned up and was made to feel very comfortable, even though, without having the condition.  I’ve learned a great deal, am still enjoying it and have made a lot of new friends.   Up until aged 70, l’d never painted anything other than a garage door!”
