Plymouth born TV celebrity and presenter, Angela Rippon joined Trustees, committee members, volunteers and people living with dementia at ‘The Rose and Crown’, Yealmpton on Saturday 24th June for coffee and cake to mark our milestone birthday. Angela Rippon spoke about how important dementia friendly communities are in reducing the impact of isolation and loneliness in our rural communities. Liz Hitchins, Chairman, thanked everyone who had contributed to the success of the charity over the years growing from an idea of a small group of local people into a charity with a national and international reputation.
