Angela Macpherson

I have always been creative, making my own clothes from an early age.  I started painting about 25 years ago and then took more lessons after I retired.  I love to experiment with all kinds of art media and am fascinated by colour.  I have worked with mosaics, fabrics, wool, embroidery, ceramics, oil paints, watercolours and pastels.  Painting however is always an exciting challenge.  I love watercolour and experimenting with different effects.  So painting on silk has become a favourite as the colours can be so vibrant.  I find oil painting a lot easier and enjoy manipulating the paint to achieve acceptable results.
