Edna was involved with Dementia Friendly Parishes around the Yealm from the very early days.  She joined the Committee and became involved with the Reader Project which she went on to develop into our popular Reading Group with Pete Hearn. Pete will read a Roger McGough poem, ‘First Day at School’ at Edna’s funeral on 26th October at 11am in the Church at Wembury. Edna, a former teacher, was an enthusiastic supporter in every sense.  We will miss her and her  great friendship.
